MLP AUSTRALIA 2026 applications are now OPEN!
How many players & captains will participate in MLP Australia 2026?
Premier – 8 Captains and a total of 32 players make up the 12 teams of 4.
Jr.MLP – 8 Teams selected to compete in some of the MLP stops.
DUPR 22 – 8 Teams Qualify through MILP National Qualifiers
Champions 50+ – 8 Teams Qualify through MILP National Qualifiers
Can I participate or promote other competitions?
MLPA Premier players can participate in other competing leagues within the region as long as they are not a captain or a financially incentivised athlete.
How much prize-money is on offer for 2026?
MLPA Premier – $200,000
Dupr22 and Champions TBD
What is the season timeline?
The 2026 MLPA Season Commences September 18 and concludes on November 29.

How with the draft process work?
Premier Draft – July 22nd, 2026
Applications close July 30th, 2026
The draft will take place with Captains selecting their picks live on the above dates.
Premier draft – Two selections from (Australia or New Zealand), and a maximum of one international selection.
Teams may select 3 Australia/New Zealand athletes if they wish.
I'm not an Australian can I nominate for the draft?
Non-Australians can nominate for the draft. A maximum of one international player per team will be allowed in the Premier Level.
International athletes must be on a signed PPA contract to be eligible as an international player.
Do I need to pay to play?
There is no application fee to play MLP Australia in 2026.
Entry fees to participate are covered by the MLP Australia in 2026.
Lodging and travel are at the athlete’s expense.
