MLPA 2026

Applicants must hold a verified DUPR rating meeting the minimum threshold for their gender category. Unverified or self-reported ratings will not be accepted.

Male athletes — 5.0 minimum
Female athletes — 4.5 minimum

Players must be available to compete in all four (4) 2026 season events for Premier: Melbourne (18–20 Sept), Brisbane (9–11 Oct), Gold Coast (20–22 Nov), Sydney (27–29 Nov).

Inability to attend all events may affect eligibility and should be disclosed.

Open to Australian and New Zealand athletes who are citizens or permanent residents also verified via Pickleball.com or DUPR accounts.

International players are only eligible if signed to the PPA Tour or are a past MLP Australia player. Selection is subject to visa/travel requirements.

Captains, signed, or financially incentivised athletes from competing domestic leagues to MLPA or MLP are not eligible.

No minimum age restriction. Players under 18 will require written parent/guardian permission prior to the draft.

All submitted information must be truthful and current. MLP Australia may disqualify false or misleading entries.

Submission does not guarantee selection. Final decisions are made by team captains on Draft Day.
